Using Scnro in an AI assistant

How to use Scnro in Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini: what to ask and what Scnro does.

Three steps to start

  1. Connect once: add the Scnro address to the assistant and sign in. Connection guide
  2. Turn Scnro on in the chat.
    By assistant
    • Claude on the web and desktop: start a new chat, open the tools menu under the message box and switch Scnro on.
    • ChatGPT: type @ in a chat and choose Scnro.
    • Gemini: type @ in a chat and choose Scnro.
    • Gemini CLI: type /mcp and check that Scnro reads CONNECTED.
    • Claude Code: once added, Scnro is available in every session.
  3. Ask, starting with “Use Scnro to …”: naming Scnro is the surest way to make the assistant use it.

How Scnro works

The assistant holds the conversation. Scnro researches figures, runs its registered models and keeps studies, sources and reports. Where no model fits, the assistant builds one; Scnro records the result and marks it as the assistant's. Studies outlive the chat.

Price and consent

Scnro asks before it spends Scnro Pennies. First it shows what it understood, with the price of the whole study step by step, and waits for your yes. Then each step that costs Scnro Pennies shows its price, your balance after it and the date your Scnro Pennies renew, and waits again. Finding sources costs Scnro Pennies too. It never contacts anyone on your behalf.
