Connecting an AI assistant

One address and one OAuth (signing in, no key needed) sign-in. API keys (a code a machine uses to call Scnro) are for developers.

Choice of assistant

Claude

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
Name it Scnro, paste this address; leave the Client ID and secret empty:

Press Connect, sign in to Scnro, choose a team and press Allow.

Scnro appears in the tools menu. Begin with “Use Scnro to …”.

On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector for the organization first.

ChatGPT

Go to Settings → Apps and switch Developer mode on (company plan: an admin turns it on).
Press + then Add custom MCP server.
Name it Scnro, paste the address into Server URL, choose OAuth; leave Client ID and secret empty.

Choose “I understand and want to continue”, then create.
Sign in to Scnro, choose a team, press Allow; in a chat type @ and choose Scnro.

ChatGPT's form has no field for a header or an API key; choose No authentication with an address that holds the key:

Paste the address, choose Next, sign in to Scnro, choose a team, press Allow.

Google replaced Gemini CLI with Antigravity CLI from 18 June 2026.

Gemini Enterprise: an admin adds Scnro as a Custom MCP Server; Scnro has not yet tried this.

Developers

Create an API key in the portal: choose your team, choose Create key.

Send the key as a bearer token in the Authorization header:

Security

Prefer OAuth: there is no key to leak.
One key per assistant, with a 30 or 90 day expiry.
Revoking takes effect within five minutes.

Common problems

Symptom	What to do
Fewer tools than expected	It follows the key's list; use a full key, then reconnect.
401	The sign-in expired or the key was revoked; connect again.
Plugin shows skills only	Open the plugin in the desktop app and sign in.
